what is it for?)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Good practice 4: the natural evolution of a system makes very difficult to define its \u00ab true \u00bb operational reality: never hesitate therefore to use all the methods and tools which seem adapted to settle all operational uncertainties<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Good practice 5: it is necessary to integrate all technical and human dimensions of the system to be built, and this from the very beginning of the project<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Good practice 6: the more a system modeling is done in an iterative way \u2013 based on a permanent questioning between the stakeholders and the systems architect \u2013 the more it will be effective<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Good practice 7: \u201cblack-box\u201d modeling, without any feedback from the customer, must be banished: stakeholders must be involved in the architectural process<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Good practice 8: the validation of an architectural model is a permanent process which must create trust in the model, from the points of view of both the architect and the domain engineers &amp; customers who will verify &amp; validate it<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Good practice 9: the achievement, as soon as possible, of a \u201csimple, but not simplistic\u201d, preliminary model which \u201cworks\u201d is fundamental in order to make the architectural approach credible by the stakeholders: details can typically be added later if necessary (a coarse-grained model can turn out to be sufficient)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Good practice 10: a complete &amp; coarse-grained coherent model is more important than an accumulation of details, which are often not relevant to the project objectives<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Good practice 11: systems architect expertise is primary: one must avoid beginners who knowonly how to use modeling tools (which is very different from architecting)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Good practice 12: the developed architectural models shall be considered as assets of the organization and managed coherently, in configuration &amp; traceability and in space &amp; time, by the organization in charge of the system design.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><div class=\"last-paragraph-no-margin\"><p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Table 14 \u2013 Some good systems modeling practices<\/strong><sup class=\"modern-footnotes-footnote \" data-mfn=\"1\" data-mfn-post-scope=\"00000000000019b60000000000000000_25652\"><a href=\"javascript:void(0)\"  role=\"button\" aria-pressed=\"false\" aria-describedby=\"mfn-content-00000000000019b60000000000000000_25652-1\">1<\/a><\/sup><span id=\"mfn-content-00000000000019b60000000000000000_25652-1\" role=\"tooltip\" class=\"modern-footnotes-footnote__note\" tabindex=\"0\" data-mfn=\"1\">Adapted from a personal communication of Professor Jacques Printz. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-3  col-xs-mobile-fullwidth\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner \"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h2 class=\"text-medium-gray text-small margin-5px-bottom alt-font text-uppercase heading-style4  heading-1\"  style=\"font-size: 10px; font-weight: 600; color: #000000;\" data-fontsize=\"10px\">TABLE OF CONTENTS<\/h2>[vc_wp_custommenu nav_menu=\u00a0\u00bb114&Prime;]<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Good practice 1: an architectural model shall be done to solve a specific problem.
